Teachers, bring your existing word lists to Spelling Test Buddy in seconds!

Bringing your existing spelling word lists into Spelling Test Buddy may seem daunting for any teacher.

But now, it’s just a matter of a few clicks and a few seconds.

When you create or are viewing a list, you can now pick a PDF or photo to upload:

In a few seconds, after processing finishes, the words in the upload file are added to your word list!

Some notes on this:

Only PDFs, PNGs, JPGs, and GIFs are supported. Word documents are not, and currently, taking a photo with your phone camera doesn’t work
You can add multiple pages of content into a single list by uploading multiple PDFs or photos
I recommend taking photos of only the actual words. Spelling Test Buddy will otherwise pick out all words (including headers and footers) and bring those in. You can of course delete those extra words with a single tap.
This is a GREAT way to bring the same list into multiple groups. I do plan to support having lists be separate from groups in the future, but until I do, this is a wonderful workaround.
