Teachers: Assign tests to Students OR Groups

You no longer are required to use Groups

Teachers,

One feedback I’ve heard a few times was: only being able to assign tests to Groups of Students is cumbersome. A Special Education teacher working 1:1 with students, a teacher following the WTW individualization program, and an ESL teacher instructing older students/adults are all examples of teachers who need to truly individualize what each student needs to see.

Previously, this was hard to do in Spelling Test Buddy: you had to create a Group, put students into the Group, then create an Assignment to that Group. So if you were doing 1:1 assignment, you now needed a group per student. This quickly becomes annoying when you have more than 10 students to manage.

Starting last week, you now can assign a test to STUDENTS or Groups.

With this change, the use of Groups becomes completely optional.
