Spelling Test Buddy’s sale is ending

Since the launch of the Teacher plan at the start of 2025, it’s been on sale for $29.99/year ($10 off from $39.99/year).

On April 20, next weekend, the price will return to the normal price of USD $39.99/year for new customers. Existing customers will continue to pay $29.99/year on renewal.

If you enjoyed trying the Teacher edition of Spelling Test Buddy but have been holding off subscribing, this week would be a good time to subscribe to lock in this lower price! You can upgrade here.

Worksheet Creator will have prices

Starting next or the following week, the sister product, Worksheet Creator will priced as follows:

• $0.99 to download a single, fully customized worksheet, OR

• $19.99 for a full year of use to download as many worksheets as you need

• If you are a Teacher who has paid for Spelling Test Buddy, you will continue to be able to use Worksheet Creator for free!

If you haven’t tried Worksheet Creator, it’s an amazing tool to create PDF worksheets for your classrooms or home use. It has 22 templates to choose from (and more are added regularly): Cloze worksheets, Tic Tac Toe, Bingo card creators, Trace Copy Cover Write, Word Hunt, Word Search Puzzle generator, Definition Match, Look Say Cover Write Check, Sorts, and more. And teachers love using it: 7 out of 10 survey recipients said that they’d be very disappointed if it was no longer available for them to use.

Why charge for it? Worksheet Creator is actually quite expensive to run. I’ve tried to support it with ads, but they don’t even cover the costs of running the service. And after exploring other marketplaces like Teachers Pay Teachers, this pricing model make Worksheet Creator an amazing value.

Is the annual plan a subscription? Actually, it’s not a subscription! Just buy access for a year, and and the end of the year, if you need it for another year, buy it again. No subscriptions that are hard to cancel and hard to remember that you signed up for.
