Add Fry or Journeys word lists with 3 taps

Teachers,

If you use the Fry Word List of 1000 words, or Journeys® Spelling Lists, you can now add the words into a word list with just 3 taps!*

Here’s how to do it:

1. When looking at a word list, scroll down to this card:

   

2. Tap on it to expand, then tap on Category to get a list of Categories.
   The Categories are:
   - Grade level (Kindergarten, First, Second)
   - Phonics/spelling pattern (e.g. Closed Syllables, Vowel Teams, Endings, Soft-C, and so on)
   - Fry 1000 Words
   - Journeys Grade 1-6 lists, organized by book

   

3. After choosing a Category, choose a Subcategory. For example, “Soft C and G” will look like this:

   

   Whereas Journeys Fifth Grade will look like this:
   

   

4. Once you’ve chosen your sub-category, you will see the words for that subcategory:
   

   

   
   Tap on “Yes, add them” to add them to your list!
